How is Life Coaching different from Counselling?
The
key difference between counselling and life coaching is that often people
come to us for counselling because they have a problem
they want to fix. Sometimes there are past traumas or negative experiences
that they want to heal. In coaching the focus is on enriching
your present experiences as well as creating a compelling and exciting
future. (Of course if past issues arise in your coaching sessions we can
resolve them as well).

In
our experience our clients see positive results in a relatively short
period of time. Because of this, we only ask clients to commit in one
month periods. This is often all it takes for people to make some key
changes and start the ball rolling. However some clients prefer a more
long-term support as they are incorporating the changes into their lives
and encountering new experiences as they move forward.
